C.O.S.Kids

C.O.S.Kids is a faith-based child care center and nonprofit serving children from 6 weeks through fifth grade. Its programs blend early childhood education with Christian values, and it offers infant and toddler care, preschool, Mother's Day Out, school age care and summer camp. The curriculum is built on Abeka Christian materials, with daily Bible time, phonics-based reading and hands-on activities for fine motor and social skills.

The center keeps two teachers in each classroom at all times, and every staff member has passed local, state and federal background checks along with required First Aid, CPR and state-mandated health and safety training. Schedules are flexible for working parents, and enrollment begins with a tour. Beyond childcare, the nonprofit also offers families educational, financial and spiritual support. The center is at 226 West John Street in Matthews.
