Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency

Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency is a hospital for pets that need emergency, critical, or specialty care. Its specialists cover surgery and anesthesia, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, radiology, behavior, and palliative care, with orthopedic and soft tissue surgery among its focuses. A team of board-certified critical care specialists handles life-threatening cases around the clock.

Emergency patients can come in at any hour without an appointment, and emergency surgery is performed every day of the week, weekends included. Specialists share cases and records between the Marietta hospital and a second Dunwoody location that opens October 20, so a pet keeps the same team wherever it is seen. Veterinarians can send specialty cases through the hospital's referral form. The Marietta hospital is on Powers Ferry Common.
