Sour, hoppy, and dark ales made with a house culture101 Church Street Northwest, Marietta, GA
Contrast Artisan Ales is a brewery making light, sour, hoppy, and dark beers. Its light lineup includes blonde, pale, amber, and red beers built for easy drinking. The sours are tart, some dry-hopped and some infused with fruits, herbs, spices, or teas, and they are mostly kettle soured with a house culture of Lactobacillus. Hoppy beers range from West Coast to hazy New England styles, and the dark beers include porters and stouts, some aged in oak and some infused with coffee.
The Marietta location on Church Street is open most afternoons and evenings, with Friday and Saturday hours running past midnight. The brewery also hosts private events. A second location in Chamblee is listed as MARTA accessible. Dark beers are made year-round.
