Whisper Valley

Whisper Valley is a master-planned community about 15 miles from downtown Austin, along the SH 130 corridor, built around energy efficiency and healthy living. Its homes share a community-wide GeoGrid geothermal loop, which connects to each house through a geothermal heat pump, and most homes include rooftop solar panels. The homes are designed to be zero energy capable, meaning they can produce as much energy as they use over a year.

Home prices start in the mid $300s, and the community plans around 5,000 single-family homes and 2,500 multi-family residences. A master association handles common areas, parks and programming, and it sets guidelines for home upkeep. Amenities include a resort pool, a fitness center, a dog park, trails and organic community gardens. The community's mailing address is Manor, TX, though it sits within Austin city limits and is served by Travis County services.
