LocAle Brewing Co

LocAle Brewing Co is a neighborhood brewery and taproom in downtown Mankato that brews a wide range of approachable beer styles, from crisp lagers and stouts to juicy pale ales and barrel-aged sours. Its name reflects the use of Midwest ingredients in many of its beers, and its logo points to the return of bison to the prairie at Minneopa State Park.

The taproom pours beers by the pint, full or small pour, and by flight, with a rotating draft list that includes seasonal releases and a few hazy IPAs, sours and German-style lagers. Guests can bring their own food, and there are a few snacks like seasoned pretzels and a non-alcoholic selection. The brewery at 228 Poplar St. also hosts private events and posts its upcoming events on its site.
