Project 47 Smokehouse

Project 47 Smokehouse is a barbecue restaurant that smokes its meats on locally grown applewood, with brisket, pulled pork, ribs, smoked chicken and turkey as the core of the menu. The menu also runs to platters, sandwiches on brioche or Texas toast, burgers, mac and cheese, and a weekday rotation of specials such as taco Tuesday and fried chicken Wednesday. A Sunday brunch menu includes breakfast tacos and smoked poutine.

The restaurant is off Route 47 and Interstate 74 in Mahomet, and it has a full bar and a side patio with picnic tables, yard games and a large World War II mural. Gift cards and private events are offered, and there is online ordering. Veterans get 10% off their meals every day.
