Life Bowls serves acai bowls with Brazilian roots, along with toast, salads, smoothies and coffee. The founders, Justin and Jon, started with a food truck before opening a brick-and-mortar location in Madison. They source coffee from Ashlawn Farm Coffee in Old Saybrook and toast bread from G Café / Whole G Bakery in New Haven.
The Madison shop is subleased inside Prive Swiss Fitness at 757 Boston Post Rd, which makes it a convenient stop for gym patrons. A second location is on Orange Street in New Haven. The menu is organized into bowls, toast and salad, smoothies, and coffee.
