Grand Apizza

Grand Apizza serves thin-crust New Haven-style pizza and Italian food, baked in brick ovens at 550 degrees. The dough follows a recipe passed down for more than 70 years, slow-risen with fresh natural yeast, and the sauce is made in-house with San Marzano tomatoes. Every pizza is topped with fresh vegetables and meats.

The pizzeria dates to 1955, when Fred Nuzzo opened the first location in New Haven's Fair Haven neighborhood, and it is now run by his son Michael Nuzzo and the family. Guests can dine in, take out or order delivery from the Madison, Clinton and Guilford locations. The family also runs a pizza truck for parties and catering.
