Goodwill Industries of NorthWest Texas

Goodwill Industries of NorthWest Texas is a local nonprofit that runs thrift stores and a Career Resource Center. Donated clothing, housewares and other goods are sold in its retail stores, and the proceeds pay for job training for people facing barriers to employment. Shoppers can find secondhand items at the stores, and the organization also offers paper shredding and accepts car donations.

Training at the Career Resource Center is free, with face-to-face and online options at the Lubbock and Amarillo centers. The Lubbock office is on 28th Street, and a separate Career Resource Center location is on University Avenue in Lubbock. The organization holds the highest level of CARF accreditation for its employee development services, and its retail stores are certified by the City of Lubbock as Lubbock Safe.
