THE GRALES

The Grales is a small group of connected spots in Louisville's Original Highlands. Gralehaus serves espresso and brunch from a counter on Baxter Avenue, Holy Grale is a craft beer bar and restaurant with a beer garden on Bardstown Road, and Bar Grale pours wine by the glass and sells bottles. Grale Goods, a bakery and fresh-food counter with a drive-thru, rounds out the group.

Gralehaus is first come, first served and does not take reservations, with seating for up to 10 inside and a garden outside for larger groups. Holy Grale takes reservations for its upstairs dining hall, called Heaven, and seats walk-ins at the bar and beer garden. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are offered across the menus, though cross-contamination is possible. Pets must stay outside, and the bar is 21 and over. Street parking is available.
