Steilberg String Instruments

Steilberg String Instruments sells acoustic and electric guitars, banjos, mandolins, violin-family instruments, basses, amplifiers, effects pedals and used gear, including consignment instruments. The shop also teaches music lessons, with banjo lessons offered alongside guitar lessons for beginners through more experienced players.

New players can book an introductory lesson to see whether an instrument suits them before committing. Instruments can be browsed online or in person at the shop on Bardstown Road in Louisville. Store hours run weekday afternoons and Saturday, and the business says it serves Louisville and the surrounding area.
