State Film Lab

State Film Lab is a photo lab that develops black and white, C-41 color negative, and slide film by mail, and also scans negatives and prints orders. Its Pro Scan service adjusts tonality frame by frame for each photographer's negatives, and it offers Digital Contact Sheets, 100 megapixel scans of an entire roll that let you crop into any frame and keep the film borders. Many of the photographers featured on its site shoot medium format and 35mm stock such as Kodak Portra.

Film can be mailed in, and the lab also takes walk-in drop-offs on weekdays. A drop box sits in the hallway beside the suite entrance, and the walk-in lab is reached from the parking lot behind the building. Gift cards and film are sold through the online shop.
