Side by Side Studio

Side by Side Studio is a nonprofit community art organization that uses creative arts to help people of all ages build confidence, compassion and a sense of belonging. Its programs include customized art education for pre-K through high school-aged children, family art events, after school art groups, teacher training and trauma-informed art programming.

The studio's home base is a storefront on Frankfort Avenue in Louisville's Clifton area, and the organization also runs a workshop on South 3rd Street and a mobile art bus that visits neighborhoods across Kentucky. Classes, camps and community events are open to families and schools, and donations help fund its work.
