Michter's Distillery

Michter's Distillery makes American whiskey and traces its heritage to what it describes as America's first whiskey company, founded in 1753. Its core line is the US★1 range, which includes a bourbon, a rye, a sour mash whiskey and an American whiskey, described as small batch and single barrel expressions.

The Shively facility is one of its production sites, and the company also operates a Fort Nelson distillery location in Louisville. Visitors can look around the facilities and book a tour, though the company has said it cannot accept tours at this time. Private events are held at the distillery, and questions about the Fort Nelson site go to a separate email address.
