Transcend Recovery Community

Transcend Recovery Community runs sober living houses in Los Angeles, with one house for men and one for women. It also offers outpatient treatment, an Individualized Intensive Program, sober mentoring, sober companions and aftercare for people moving on from treatment. The houses are in Santa Monica and Venice, and the organization has served the Los Angeles community since 2008.

Staffing runs around the clock with three full shifts plus an awake overnight staff member, rather than only a live-in manager. Transportation to recovery-related activities is provided. Families are included through a weekend program held every other month and weekly contact with a dedicated family director, at no added cost. Weekly experiential classes such as yoga, acupuncture and mindful meditation are part of the program. People from Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Orange County and San Diego may join, and confidential callbacks are available.
