Mercado La Paloma

Mercado La Paloma is a food and shopping market in the Figueroa Corridor of South Los Angeles. Its restaurant tenants include two Oaxacalifornia spots, a taqueria, a Thai counter, Komal Chichen Itza Holbox and Food Express, alongside shops selling Oaxacan crafts, alterations, sports gear and cutlery.

The market occupies a former garment factory that Esperanza renovated over five years into a community gathering space for local residents, artists and musicians. The 1st floor community room can be rented by the hour or by the day table, with rates depending on whether you are a current tenant, local community group, nonprofit or for-profit. Room reservations are handled by email.
