Hang Steady Custom Picture Framing

Hang Steady is a custom picture framing studio that makes handmade frames, conservation framing, canvas stretching, shadowboxes, acrylic display cases and custom mirrors. Work is done in its own Los Angeles studio, and the team frames everything from original art and photographs to unusual keepsakes like ceramic sculptures and masks.

Every project starts with a design consultation, which is booked through an online scheduler and is done in person at the studio. Pricing depends on piece size and choices such as moulding, mats, glass and mounting, and starts around $250 for a small piece up to 11 by 14 inches. Pickup and delivery are available for a fee that depends on distance and number of pieces, starting at $50. The shop is on Venice Boulevard in Los Angeles, and gift cards are offered.
