Donated cars for people who need reliable transportation1057 S Olive St, Los Angeles, CA
Free Car Foundation is a nonprofit that gives donated cars to people who need reliable transportation. It also helps families find car repair assistance, gas and car payment help, and low-income car insurance. The foundation lists single parents, veterans, seniors, people with disabilities and low-income families among the people it works with.
Applications are taken online and take about five minutes, with no application fee and no Social Security number required. Applying does not guarantee a vehicle. People can also donate a car they no longer need, and donors may qualify for a tax deduction. The office is in Los Angeles, and the program accepts applicants from any U.S. state.
