Design By Nature Landscape Studio (MP-26574)

Design By Nature Landscape Studio designs and builds residential gardens, pergolas, outdoor kitchens and drought-tolerant landscapes. Principal Merrill Kruger, an associate ASLA, leads the studio, which takes a project from first sketches and mock-ups through installation. The studio is known for native and drought-tolerant planting, water-efficient irrigation and green walls, and it also offers fire mitigation plans and sustainable building consultations.

Projects range from a single courtyard or entryway to a full property rebuild, and the studio works across many budgets and styles. Work typically starts with researching local codes and permit requirements where they apply. Consultations can cover water audits, soil testing and coordinating tree pruning with your maintenance company, and clients can also get help choosing furnishings. The studio is located on South Barrington Avenue in Los Angeles.
