Yates Heritage Farm

Yates Heritage Farm works on restoration agriculture, combining pollinator and beneficial insect habitat with agroforestry, cider apple varieties grafted onto rootstock, and alley cropping. The farm also grows Colorado-registered hemp, testing many trial varieties selected for cold hardiness and drought resistance. Its shop sells hemp flower, a hemp salve and a whole plant hemp extract.

Customers can shop for the hemp products online, and the farm can be reached by email. Bees are kept only when swarms are naturally trapped on the property, with little to no management. The farm is on Nelson Road in Longmont.
