Surplus Lumber

Surplus Lumber is a wholesale-to-the-public lumberyard in Lodi that sells mostly factory and mill pallets, with a small amount of retail. Its stock runs to redwood, cedar, pine and Douglas fir, along with plywood, fencing, siding, decking, moulding and a little hardware such as nails, screws and connectors. Because the goods are surplus and seconds, many deals are one-time buys, and prices are set for bulk units.

Stock changes often and some items sell out, so calling ahead is the practical step before coming by. Sales run Tuesday through Friday and Saturday morning, and loading is done with a forklift in set windows. The yard takes cash, debit, Visa and Mastercard but not checks, and returns are limited to five days with a restocking fee. It does not deliver, so buyers need a truck or trailer that can carry the load.
