Vegan Cafe

Vegan Cafe is a plant-based restaurant serving raw, vegan, gluten-free and organic food, with appetizers, entrées, pizzas, pastas, burgers, and desserts. Signature dishes include nachos, guacamole boats, pad Thai over zucchini noodles, and an almond butter pie. Much of the menu is served cold or at room temperature, since the food is dehydrated rather than cooked above 110 degrees to keep it raw.

The café has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and offers dine-in and carry-out. A lunch special runs Tuesday through Friday, and there is a meal plan for regulars along with catering and party orders. Guests with allergies should note that most dishes contain or come into contact with nuts, so the staff asks diners to mention any allergies. The café sits in downtown Lockport on South State Street, near the I&M Canal.
