Chris Furniture

Chris Furniture is a family-owned furniture store that has been open since 1979, selling living room, dining room and bedroom furniture along with mattresses. The store carries American-made lines from brands such as Hancock & Moore, CR Laine, King Hickory, Temple Furniture and Leathercraft, and it offers custom upholstery, where shoppers pick a fabric sample and the manufacturer builds the piece to match.

Visits are by appointment, and an onsite interior advisor can help with the design and tone of a room. Custom orders can take time, and the store handles delivery to the home. The shop is on Plymouth Road in Livonia.
