Twinkle Star Dance Academy

Twinkle Star Dance Academy is a dance studio that teaches children and teens in a non-competitive setting, where dancers are encouraged rather than ranked. Its programs follow a dancer from the first class to the stage, with regular classes, camps and recitals. Founder and CEO Tiffany Henderson leads the company, which also runs a dancewear shop.

The Livermore studio is one of several locations in a franchised network that also includes studios in Texas, Florida and Illinois. A 2026 study with the University of Pennsylvania found that children's mood stayed the same or improved after most of the classes measured. Parents and family members are part of the community too, cheering dancers on from the sidelines.
