The Croissanterie LR

The Croissanterie LR is a French-style bakery on Cantrell Road in Little Rock known for its croissants, which are made over a three-day process with European-style butter containing 83% butterfat. The menu blends French pastry with Southern comfort flavors, and everything, including the peanut butter and jam, is made from scratch with locally sourced ingredients.

The bakery started at farmers' markets in 2019 and a food truck in 2020 before opening its first brick-and-mortar shop in late 2021. Chefs Wendy Schay and Jill McDonald also run catering for everything from box lunches to plated dinners, a monthly supper club, private classes, and a River Room that can be reserved for meetings or parties. Email is the way to plan events, and a larger location with two full kitchens is planned for early 2026.
