Morningstar Electric

Morningstar Electric is a licensed residential electrical contractor covering diagnostics and repairs, panel upgrades and replacements, whole-home surge protection, generator transfer switches, EG4 battery backup systems, and Level 2 and Tesla EV charger installs. The company also handles AFCI and GFCI protection, smoke and CO detector installs, and LED lighting work for homes and some light commercial jobs.

Morningstar Electric is run by husband-and-wife owners Ken and Tammy Morningstar and serves Eastern Hillsborough County, including Lithia, Brandon, Valrico, Riverview, Fishhawk, and Bloomingdale. Calls and texts go to the main line, and the company says it offers honest diagnostics and fixed pricing discussions before work starts. Its Lower Florida Keys service, covering Big Pine Key and nearby islands, is service-only work.
