Make My Day Please

Make My Day Please is a pet care business run by Mike and Catherine Blake that offers dog walking, pet sitting and cat care. Its sitters care for dogs, cats and less common pets, from chickens and rabbits to pot belly pigs and geckos. A visit can include a potty break, a walk, playtime or a mix of these, and cat visits cover fresh water, food when needed, litter box cleaning and plenty of petting. Overnight and house sitting are available for longer trips.

Each dog gets a primary sitter who visits on a regular schedule, with a backup team ready if that sitter is unavailable. Clients can request, change or cancel appointments through an online portal, and they receive a daily text from the sitter along with GPS tracking. Sitters are licensed, bonded and insured. The first meeting with a new pet is free. The business serves Gainesville, Manassas, Nokesville, Haymarket and Bristow.
