MontCo Mosquito Defe

MontCo Mosquito Defense is a locally owned mosquito and tick control company serving homes in Bucks and Montgomery County. Its spray also targets fleas, gnats and other flying pests, and the company treats lawns, foliage and areas where pests gather or water stands. The owner is an established green industry professional, and the business was formed after homeowners struggled to find a vendor for mosquito control.

Treatments run from April to October, with a visit about every two to three weeks depending on weather. Crews walk the property spraying grass and foliage, usually taking 10 to 30 minutes, and the owner says the spray is safe for kids and pets once dry, which usually takes under 20 minutes. Homeowners do not need to be home during treatment. The phone consultation and estimate are free, and pricing depends on property size and landscaping. The company says it does not treat flowering shrubs to protect pollinators. Service areas include Perkasie, Hatfield, Pennsburg, Souderton, Lansdale and Quakertown.
