True North Custom Homes

True North Custom Homes is a custom home builder in Lincoln, Nebraska, handling the whole project in one company: discovery, architectural design with in-house drafting and 3D renders, interior design, estimating, construction, and project management. The team has been building since 2014, when founder Sam Swartz started in Lincoln with a partner, and the company went out on its own in 2020.

The process runs in set steps, and the company says its firm bids often land within 1 to 2 percent of what a client ends up spending on the architectural design. Clients get updates through a customized smartphone app or website during construction. The company also builds townhomes and move-in ready homes, and it serves Lincoln and the surrounding area from its office on Maddox Drive.
