BMR Pool & Patio

BMR Pool & Patio designs and builds custom pools, spas, patios, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and stonework for backyards in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The company has been in business since 1999 and is still owned and operated by its founders, Rick Donoghue and Mason Thane, who stay involved in projects from the first design conversation through the final walkthrough. Each project is designed from scratch rather than sold from packages.

The process starts with a free consultation, followed by an in-home design visit and a custom 3D design with a proposal before permits and construction begin. Pool builds typically take about 8 to 10 weeks from excavation to completion, and each project gets a dedicated project manager. The company has a showroom and design studio in Lewisville, on Justin Road, where homeowners can look at materials and finishes in person. Weekday hours are 9am to 5pm, with Saturdays by appointment only.
