Serenity Place

Serenity Place is a mental health practice with nearly 30 licensed therapists and counselors who work with individuals, couples, families, teens and children. Clinicians focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD and relationship concerns, using methods such as CBT, DBT, TF-CBT and PCIT. The practice also offers psychiatric nurse practitioner care, which currently has a waitlist.

Virtual sessions are available throughout Maryland and Texas, and virtual therapy typically has immediate openings. In-person therapy is offered in Leonardtown, Prince Frederick and La Plata, Maryland, and in San Antonio, Houston and Lubbock, Texas, with limited availability and a waitlist in Maryland. The practice accepts Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna and other major employer plans. Couples sessions are not billed through insurance and cost $150 per session. The Leonardtown office is on Washington Street.
