Utah K9 Academy

Utah K9 Academy is a dog training business run by Carlos Kubischta, a former U.S. Air Force Military Working Dog trainer with eight years of active duty. The academy focuses on basic and advanced obedience, behavior modification and puppy training, using play, food rewards and structure. Courses include a three-week advanced on- and off-leash program, a two-week on-leash course, a 10-day puppy course and private sessions for leash pulling, jumping and beginner obedience.

Dogs can also stay for boarding with monitored care around the clock and daily behavior training. Training is hands-on, with outings to places such as parks, pet stores and walking trails, and each course includes family sessions so owners learn the commands at home. Email or phone calls are welcome, and owners are asked to list the behaviors they want corrected when they reach out.
