Dixie Electric Power Association

Dixie Electric Power Association is an electric cooperative that delivers power to about 41,400 meters across seven counties, over roughly 5,064 miles of line. Its work includes outage management, public safety programs for households and generators, and energy programs such as solar information and energy calculators.

Neighbors can start new electric service or request outdoor lighting through the cooperative's district offices in Laurel, Petal and Waynesboro. Accounts, bill payment and outage reports are handled online, including through the SmartHub app and an outage map. The Laurel office is the main contact point for the Laurel area.
