VARGAS BOXING & JIU JITSU

Vargas Boxing & Jiu Jitsu is a youth-focused gym offering boxing and jiu jitsu alongside after-school tutoring, mentoring, and health and nutrition guidance. Former three-time world boxing champion Fernando Vargas and his wife, Martha, started the program after moving their family to Southern Nevada and seeing a need for structured after-school activities for local kids.

The program runs through the Fernando Vargas Fighting Foundation, a federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit and USA Boxing organization that focuses on athletics, academics, and community service, with mentors and positive role models working with the kids. Families and neighbors can help by making tax-deductible donations, giving water or supplies, offering community service hours, or volunteering as after-school tutors. The office is on North Rancho Drive in Las Vegas.
