JBC Media Box

JBC Media Box makes a small digital display device that turns an ordinary TV into a digital sign or menu board. The unit can be set up in landscape or portrait, takes MP4 video and JPG, PNG or GIF images, and runs playlists with scheduling and transition effects. Businesses use it in restaurants, bars, hotels, waiting rooms and offices, and some sell ad space on the screen or place it on an ATM to promote products.

Content is managed through an internet-based portal from any computer, so changes can be made from anywhere. There are no contracts or monthly fees. Each unit comes with a 30-day portal period, and after that you pay only when you need to update content, with short access options for a few dollars. Playback itself does not depend on an internet connection. The company is based at 1677 Helm Drive in Las Vegas.
