Bolt Energy

Bolt Energy makes lithium golf cart batteries, sold in several capacities for 36, 48 and 72 volt carts, with heated and non-heated options on some models and stated ranges of up to 70 miles. The company was started by two golf cart dealers in Largo who grew frustrated with unreliable lithium batteries and weak dealer support, and it designs its batteries to fit most carts. Its batteries carry a 12-year transferable warranty, with six years of full replacement coverage.

The company sells to golf cart dealers and also offers chargers and accessories. Customers can check battery range with an online distance calculator and find installation videos and owner manuals on the website. The office is at 6650 Treeland Avenue in Largo, and it is open weekdays during business hours, closed on weekends.
