Verified Credentials

Verified Credentials is a background screening company that runs employment background checks for employers, along with criminal record searches, ID and Social Security number tracing, E-Verify eligibility checks, professional and academic verifications, drug testing, and driving record searches. The company says it has been in business for over 40 years and is accredited by PBSA as an original founding member.

Employers, schools, nonprofits and contractors use its candidate portal, where applicants enter their own information and sign disclosures online, with text alerts along the way. The company reports that 84% of searches finish in less than a day, and it offers a background check API and integrations for HR systems. Its office is at Kenbridge Court in Lakeville.
