Gray Line Minnesota

Gray Line Minnesota is the charter bus and transportation arm of Schmitty & Sons, a company that began in 1941 when Wilfrid Schmitt started driving for a local transit company. The company bought the Gray Line Tours franchise for Minnesota in 2000. It is known for motorcoach charters for weddings, corporate outings, athletic teams, church and club groups, and concert shuttles, and it also runs trolleys, school buses and the Quick Ride shuttles at Minneapolis-St. Paul airport.

Groups request a quote online by choosing a vehicle type, such as a motorcoach, mid-coach, Sprinter van, school bus or trolley, and noting whether a wheelchair lift is needed. The deluxe motorcoaches include wireless internet and table space, which suits business travel. Two-hour public sightseeing tours of Minneapolis and Saint Paul are also offered. Gray Line Minnesota's own repair and maintenance shop works on the fleet, and the company has been employee-owned since 2016.
