Family Chiropractic and Wellness is a chiropractic and wellness practice run by Dr. Jake Filkins and Crystal Luxmore, in business since 2011. Chiropractic care is the core of the practice, with sports chiropractic for athletic injuries alongside physical therapy, craniosacral therapy, massage therapy, custom orthotics and nutrition counseling. Patients often come in for low back pain, neck pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica, plantar fasciitis or shoulder injuries.

No referral is needed to book a first visit, either online or by phone. The first appointment includes a health history, a physical exam and imaging if needed, followed by a personalized treatment plan at a follow-up visit. The office verifies insurance benefits after that initial consultation. The team also offers wellness talks for groups and lunch-and-learn sessions at local businesses. The office is on Dodd Boulevard in Lakeville.
