Smith's American Tavern is a downtown Lakeland restaurant serving classic American tavern fare with a modern twist, along with craft cocktails. Its house-made menu includes wing and pasta sauces, hand-rolled Cuban Egg Rolls, beer-battered mushrooms and a Churrasco, and its weekend brunch offers bottomless mimosas and a popular mimosa flight.
The tavern opened in 2020 as a successor to The Back Nine and includes two Full Swing golf simulators that guests can reserve by the hour for up to 8 people, with food and drinks welcome at the tables. Brunch runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 2pm and has a limited menu. The restaurant is at 124 S Tennessee Ave in downtown Lakeland, and reservations are taken through its website.
