Buffalo Creek Brewing

Buffalo Creek Brewing is a craft brewery in Long Grove, Illinois, serving its own beers in a Bavarian-style taproom. The lineup includes Long Grove Lager, a Vienna lager, Half Nelson, a double dry-hopped American wheat, Angelic Helles, a Munich helles, and Red Headed Stepchild, a strawberry blonde. The brewery's owner, Mike Marr, favors German and Belgian styles, and the menu of beers has grown from more than 40 recipes.

The brewery occupies the former art studio of the Long Grove Academy of Fine Arts on Historical Lane, in the historic downtown. The space includes a taproom, a biergarten, an event room, a patio and scenic lawns, with capacity for more than 350 people. Events and live acts are held regularly, and tours are offered on Saturdays by appointment.
