Lake Stevens K9 Academy LLC

Lake Stevens K9 Academy runs dog training classes for puppies and adult dogs, with a focus on well-mannered behavior in public and at home. Puppy programs range from kindergarten and elementary levels to a boot camp, and adult classes cover basic and intermediate manners, Canine Good Citizen preparation and testing, therapy dog certification, and nose work. Private lessons and pet sitting are also available.

Most group classes are a set of six sessions, each 45 to 50 minutes long, held over six weeks at a training site on Hartford Drive in Lake Stevens. The trainers use balanced, positive-based methods, and each trainer's bio is posted so families can choose the approach that suits them. The owner has trained animals since 2000 and has earned recognition in obedience, conformation, and therapy work with her own dogs. Families whose preferred class time isn't on the schedule can ask the academy to let them know.
