DockGlide

DockGlide sells a self-adjusting cleat system that protects boats and docks from the wakes and chop created by passing boats. Each system uses a 3-foot stainless-steel shaft mounted to dock posts, with a glide that moves freely with the water, and lines secured through the glide to mooring snubbers that absorb shock. The system is covered by a US patent.

Kits are priced by boat weight, from a set of four glide components for boats up to 10,000 lbs to a set of eight for boats up to 40,000 lbs. The company was founded by a Lake of the Ozarks family after their own dock took heavy wake damage, and the systems are manufactured in Missouri. Orders are placed through the website, and questions can go to the customer service email or by phone.
