El Toro Gourmet Meats

El Toro Gourmet Meats is a family-run meat market in Lake Forest, known for its beef, chicken, pork and seafood selection and for its chicken, beef and pork asadas and house-made guacamole. The shop carries exotic meats such as buffalo, venison, duck, rabbit and quail, and will order a specific cut on request for a special event. Bob Bacca and his son Bobby have run the store since Bob took ownership in 1992.

The full-service deli features Boar's Head meats and cheeses, with custom cutting, and takeout is available. The store also sells premium Napa and Sonoma wines and a selection of craft beers, plus gourmet coffee, and gift cards are sold in-store only. It is busiest on holidays, and the Bacca family is happy to share recipes and cooking tips with customers.
