Spirit and Matter

Spirit and Matter is a massage therapy and bodywork practice in Lafayette that treats the body, mind and spirit together. The practice blends several approaches, including Swedish, deep tissue, lymph drainage, craniosacral therapy and structural integration, with herbalism and Ayurveda informing the work. Teresa Schmidt, the owner and senior massage therapist, has studied bodywork and energy work for many years, and associate massage therapist Kaitlyn Morse focuses on relaxation combined with deep tissue work.

Appointments can be booked online, and gift certificates are available for purchase online. The practice moved to Forest Park Circle in Lafayette, in the Forest Park Collective building, so clients should check the suite number when they arrive. Clients come in for pain relief, including back, neck and shoulder pain, as well as for general relaxation.
