Before n After is a small family-owned cafe in La Palma known for ceremonial-grade matcha, whisked to order, and espresso pulled fresh for each drink. The bakery case has scones, cookies and pastries baked fresh every day, and the kaymak is skimmed and set over thirty-six hours. The menu runs from honey oat and cinnamon toast matcha lattes to espresso tonics like Jeju Tangerine and Korean Pear.

You can order ahead from your phone for pickup at the bar, and the cafe also offers delivery. The space has outlets at every seat, fast wifi and a large 300-inch screen, and it can be rented for private events. It's at 30 Centerpointe Drive in La Palma, in suite 8, with easy parking.
