Scripps Research

Scripps Research is a nonprofit biomedical research institute that combines fundamental science with drug discovery. Its work covers chemistry, immunology and microbiology, neuroscience, structural and computational biology, and translational medicine, with research programs on cancer, heart disease, infectious diseases, addiction, and other conditions. The institute also runs a graduate school and postdoctoral training programs.

Members of the public can join clinical studies through its trial program and attend the free Front Row lecture series. Donations and giving options are available through its website. The campus is at 10550 North Torrey Pines Road in La Jolla.
