La Jolla Surf Systems is a surf shop at La Jolla Shores that has been open since 1979. The shop sells men's, women's and kids' apparel and accessories, and it rents boards, wetsuits and beach gear. Its surf school runs lessons, camps, coaching and special events under the name Surf Education Academy, and the company is one of the few surf schools permitted by the City of San Diego.
Lessons are booked online and gear is reserved ahead through the website. The shop also offers vacation rentals in La Jolla Shores. It is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM at 2132 Avenida de la Playa, a short walk from the beach at the Shores.
