Summit General Contractors

Summit General Contractors is a commercial general contractor that manages construction for national and regional retailers and developers. Its work covers ground-up development, retrofits and tenant improvements, interior renovations, rollout programs for store remodels, and preconstruction services such as budgeting, scheduling, and permitting. The company relies on a network of regional and national subcontractors rather than self-performing every trade.

Summit is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and says it has completed more than 1,500 projects across 26 states in the Southeast and Midwest. Its clients are mainly retail strip centers, outparcels, convenience stores, and industrial properties rather than homeowners. Most work comes through direct relationships with developers and retail chains.
