Merit Construction

Merit Construction is a Knoxville-based commercial general contractor that has been building for commercial and institutional clients across East Tennessee since 1982. The firm handles preconstruction, construction management and project management, and its recent work includes healthcare, education, religious, corporate and industrial facilities such as the Hardin Valley Academy and the Sacred Heart Cathedral project.

Merit works on owner-led projects and bids, and it lists a project intake form on its site for owners to describe a facility, location and timeline. The company's offices are at 10435 Dutchtown Rd. in Knoxville, and it also welcomes contact from trade partners who want to be considered for future bid opportunities.
